Chromosome Harvesting Systems

ADS Biotec offers four harvester platforms to meet the requirements of small to large sample throughput laboratories.

The HANABI Metaphase Chromosome Harvesters are the first systems to fully automate the multi-step process of preparing and harvesting metaphase cells derived from blood and bone marrow cell cultures and from other cell suspension cultures for cytogenetic analyses.

Centrifugation, aspiration, addition of hypotonic and fixative solutions, and cell resuspension are all automated. Walk-away reliability and low maintenance significantly reduce FTE time associated with the manual harvesting process.

ADS Biotec offers four harvester platforms to meet the requirements of small to large sample throughput laboratories.

  • HANABI P1: Sample throughput from 1 to 16 tubes
  • HANABI P2N Series: Sample throughput 1 to 24 samples per run
  • HANABI P3P: Sample throughput from 1 to 64 tubes
  • HANABI P1000 for in-situ culture harvesting: Sample throughput up to 65 samples.
 
Cytogenetic Reagents for Chromosome Harvesting

ADS Biotec offers cytogenetic reagents include premium hypotonic and fixative reagents for use in chromosome harvesting.
